What do you do when the material you need for your own work is toxic? Other Matter began inside an artistic practice imagining a post-petrochemical world, and ran straight into a contradiction: every exhibition relied on PVC decals. The solution – an algae-based, non-toxic, made-to-be-remade material – became OM Signage Film. Other Matter Pty Ltd incorporated in 2024.
