We are often engaged to talk about our work with bioplastic and perform live cooks for audiences at events and in educational settings. Currently in development and soon to be offered are workshops that can be offered to both individuals or booked for private groups where participants will learn to make their own algae-based bioplastic.

Other Matter acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung People of the Eastern Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history and who have one of the longest creative and scientific human histories on Earth. We pay respect to Elders of the community - past, present and emerging - and extend this respect to all First Nations people. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. The place we call home has a rich history and its Indigenous peoples have unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters, seas and all living things within them.
